About Paws and Play Pet Resort & Training Center
Paws and Play is the most award-winning pet care facility in Westchester County NY! We’re conveniently located in Tuckahoe, NY, and provide the highest quality dog boarding, dog daycare, training and grooming services to our clients throughout Bronxville, Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Yonkers, Scarsdale, and all of Westchester County, the Bronx and New York City. We are fully licensed and approved by the Westchester Health Department and proven to deliver high quality care for our furry guests.

Business History
Paws and Play is a family owned and operated pet resort. Paws and Play opened in September 2011 after owner Matt Sellecchia spent years researching the pet care industry, surveying local pet owners’ needs and planning the state-of-the-art resort. Matt traveled around the country visiting various high quality pet care facilities, even working at one in Houston, TX and Stamford, CT to understand how the ultimate pet resort should operate. The goal of Paws and Play was to create a fun and safe environment where dogs would love to come and play, and pet owners would feel completely confident in the superior level of care their dogs receive. It didn’t take long for Paws and Play to become Westchester County’s premier destination for the highest quality pet care services
Owner/Founder(s)
Having grown up a couple minutes from Paws and Play, owner Matt Sellecchia, has deep roots in the local community. He currently lives in the area with his wife Suzanne, daughter Hayden, son Brian, son Luke, and bulldog Reggie, all of whom can be seen on any day lending a helping hand at Paws and Play. The idea for Paws and Play came about while Matt was attending Bronxville High School. He wasn’t happy with his family’s options for boarding their beloved Golden Retriever Elle. His entire family wished there was a fun, clean and safe place for his dog to enjoy her time away from the family. After graduating from Boston College in 2003, Matt entered the world of finance, but his dream of opening a premier pet resort in Westchester remained. In 2009, Matt decided to bring his dream to a reality. Two years later Paws and Play opened its doors and Matt is proud to say he finally has a premier pet resort. His door is always open to his clients and strongly values their feedback.
Our Management Team
Our management team at Paws and Play has over 25 years of combined pet care experience. They bring a wealth of knowledge to Paws and Play, having managed a multitude of other businesses, ranging from boarding/daycare facilities to local chamber of commerce. Our team prides itself on providing the highest quality pet care and customer service for our four and two legged guests. Paws and Play has completed the Outstanding Pet Care University (OPCU) comprehensive curriculum for pet care facility training with classes and courses dedicated to helping pet care facility owners, managers and staff deliver the highest quality pet care.
Hours of Operation
We have resumed normal operating hours, effective immediately:
Monday thru Friday: 7am to 7pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm
Sunday: 11am to 3pm
Drop off/pick up for Boarding on Saturdays and Sundays will be by scheduled appointments only.
Paws and Play’s Front Office is closed the following National Holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Our Lobby will be closed on Major Holidays for drop-off and pick-up. Although our receptionists will not be available to take your call, please rest assured that your pets are being well cared for by our staff. All emails and phone calls will be returned the following day.

You are welcome to visit our dog boarding facility anytime and ask as many questions as you would like.
We are located approximately 16 miles from midtown Manhattan, we are conveniently located at 72 Marbledale Road in Tuckahoe, NY, right off the Hutchinson River Parkway, Bronx River Parkway and White Plains Road (Route 22). Our outstanding pet care facility serves pet owners throughout the Westchester area as well as The Bronx and New York City.
